DJ Novalian is a revolutionary symphonic entertainer and immersive DJ/VJ with over 20 years of experience delivering powerful, emotionally driven event experiences. Born with Spina Bifida/Scoliosis, he has transformed adversity into creative strength—demonstrating that artistry, innovation, and impact have no limitations. Formerly known as DJ Skinnzy up to 2019 and transitioned officially as DJ Novalian thereafter. He has performed across corporate, private, and weddings, crafting fully immersive sound and visual journeys that captivate, inspire, and leave lasting impressions. His journey into the entertainment industry began humbly at the age of eight through music production, creating remixes and collaborating with local artists within his community and internationally. As his technical and creative skills evolved very quickly and he still had continued drive to keep learning and exploring, DJ Novalian emerged as a forward-thinking, future-proof multimedia entertainer and sound creator—developing his craft while simultaneously overcoming significant health challenges. During his youth, he had experienced life very uniquely. He received long-term treatments from birth at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), where he is a proud alumnus and continued advocate.
Even during extended hospital stays, DJ Novalian remained deeply committed to his artistry, often producing and refining work from his hospital bed and various other environments. While being away from home due to health Sickkids had became his second home that inspired him to grow more creatively and do more. His dedication did not go unnoticed. A SickKids Public Relations representative witnessed his unwavering creative process during nearly a year-long treatment period and various other treatments, marking a pivotal moment that would shape his professional path. This led to his first major contribution to the SickKids Prom Committee, opening doors to expanding networks and opportunities that fueled his creative momentum. Through these experiences, DJ Novalian became recognized as far more than a traditional performer. He redefined perceptions of entertainment by seamlessly integrating sound, visuals, and assistive technology into his performances—offering audiences a rare and powerful perspective on all-inclusive, accessible creativity processes. By pushing boundaries and challenging industry norms, he has helped set a new standard within the event and entertainment landscape.
